Maggie Grace, born Margaret Grace Denig on September 21, 1983 in Worthington Ohio, is an American actor. She is best known for her roles as Shannon Rutherford and Kim Mills and Kim Mills in ABC's Lost TV show. Born in Worthington Ohio, she left high school and moved to Los Angeles with her mother following her divorce from her parents. The actress landed her first part, as Rachel's Room's main character in 2001, despite having a difficult time with finances. Following her win of a Young Artist Award in 2002 for her performance of Murder on the streets of Greenwich of a 15-year young Martha Moxley as a murder victim, she went on to be awarded. Grace Rutherford played the lead actress on Lost during its initial two seasons. In 2004 she received the Screen Actors Guild Award with all the cast. Leaving the series Grace wanted to appear as a film actress, and had starred opposite Tom Welling in The Fog in 2005. The actress was in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club (both 2007) as well as opposite Liam Neeson as Kim Mills in Taken in 2008. Taken 2 (2012), Taken 3 2014 and Taken 4 (2014) were her reprises of the characters. Grace performed the role of Shannon on the final episode and two other episodes. In 2013, she was a guest in the sixth episode of Californication. She plays Faith an actress who serves as a model for the stars, and draws the attention of Hank Moody (David Duchovny). She is part of Gyllenhaal's family and is the elder sibling of Jake Gyllenhaal. Her first roles were in films of her father when he was an adolescent. Together with her brother she also appeared as a character in Donnie Darko (2000). She appeared next in Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind in 2002, and Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal was praised by critics for both her performances as the main character actress in Secretary (2002), an erotic romance drama drama as well as Sherrybaby (2006). She received a nomination from the Golden Globe Award. In 2006, she had several films that were commercially successful, including World Trade Center. However, it was her role in the role of Rachel Dawes that brought her greater attention for her performance in The Dark Knight (2008). She was nominated in the Academy Award as Best Supporting Actress due to her part on the film Crazy Heart, (2009). After that she continued to star in comedies as well as dramas such Nanny McPhee And The Big Bang (2010) Hysteria (2011), and Won't Back Down (12). Other roles she has played included Secret Service agents in White House Down (2013 an action thriller), actors in Frank (2014 Drama The Kindergarten Teacher 2018), and her role as the Kindergarten teacher. Gyllenhaal began her career as a screenwriter, director and writer in the year 2021. she directed and wrote The Lost Daughter, a psychological drama. The Lost Daughter.
