Michael Keaton was an American actor, producer and director most well-known as the main character of Birdman. The versatile actor is equally proficient in both comedy and drama. His work has led him to perform a number of characters who are romantic, and also in action films. His passion for the acting profession began when he was when he was in his teen years. He attempted stand-up comedy in his early 20s. Even though his stand-up act was not successful it helped in the development of his acting. Since he wasn't able to make it as acting, he chose to work as a TV cameraman. He realized that his true love was behind the camera as he worked in the position. Then he landed a TV part, playing several shows on Mister Rogers Neighborhood. He was naturally gifted and became very popular in the world of television. When he began his film career He had a lot of ambitions and was well-known for his comic-book roles. The actor became more famous when he played Batman who was the title character in Tim Burton's Batman. Over time his acting ability developed and he was able to explore production and directing. He won numerous nominations and awards for his role in the film Birdman.
